Asteros Groups remains the leader in Information Security services

For the second year in a row, IDC ranks Asteros Group the largest Information Security service provider. Asteros Group reported revenues in excess of $45 million from Information Security services while cracking a psychologically important 10 % market share barrier.

According to the Russian Information Security Services Market Report published by IDC, the market grew by 42.6 % boasting $445.11 million in revenues in 2011. According to analyst forecasts, sustained consumer interest in information security services will jack up demand by more than 32 %. Increased focus of corporate users on compliance with information security requirements and standards will serve as the primary growth factor in this market.

Asteros Group is ranked the top information security service provider for two years in a row, reporting 2011 revenues of $45.75 million in this segment, up 61.1 % from the previous year. Group's market share increased from 9.1 % to 10.3 % over the same period.

KABEST is a dedicated security division within Asteros Group. This year, KABEST delivered a number of complex one-of-a-kind projects for Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, TVEL, Chepetsky Mechanical Plant, NCCP, MegaFon, Rosenergoatom, Kazkommerzbank, Halyk Bank, Kuznetskbiznesbank and Unicredit among other clients.

KABEST also became a member of ABISS (Association for Banking Information Security Standards) Non-Commercial Partnership. Participation in this organization gives Asteros Group an opportunity for early engagement in development of information security standards for financial organizations.
